Surgery
Orthopedic Surgery
- Front and back limbs are protected, eliminating the need for individual protection for each limb.
- Back surgery: a protection under the zipper provides comfort and safety for dorsal surgical approaches.
Soft Tissue Surgery:
- Abdominal surgeries protects the healing wound in a more comfortable and compliant way.
- Mass removals anywhere on the body, with protection not only from licking, but also from rubbing and scratching!
- Neck surgeries, including thyroidectomies have always been a challenging to manage during recovery. With our padded neck technology, your surgical incision is protected.
- It’s easier to add disposable discharge containment materials inside the suit, for any surgeries where draining will be expected.
- Coverage for perineal area procedures: a more specific design helps protect areas not only from licking but also from environmental contaminants.
Dermatology:
- Multiple ports allow for easy access to care for drains, and multiple loops to attach drains and tubes, avoiding displacement and improving patient care.
- Keep your patients calm and confortable during recovery, without uncomfortable e-collars.
- Washer and dryer safe: so you can quickly wash it if soiled during hospital stay.
- Adjustable waist: cinchable waist allows for a more form fitting suit for deep chested patients.
- Customizable unisex suits: cut openings for penis or vulva, while maintaining maximum coverage for the area.
- Cut openings for drains and tubes in pre-designed areas on either side of the suit.
- Attach drains and tubes to strategically located loops on the back and sides to decrease the risk of pull out during hospitalization.
Wounds
- Traumatic wounds are notably hard to treat. Wearing an e-collar for extended periods is not only uncomfortable for the pet, but also stressful for owners. Increase compliance in your treatment by using Pet Pjs.
- Easier to maintain bandages and disposable materials in the correct place with Pet Pjs.
- Pet Pjs can be washed daily by the owners, while allowing the wound to breath, and avoiding multiple trips for bandage changes and moist, contaminated bandages (based on DVM assessment).
Hospitalization
- Conveniently keep your patients wounds protected and skin clean during hospitalization.
- Easy to wash daily to decrease the risk of contamination.
- Multiple ports allow for easy access to care for drains, and multiple loops to attach drains and tubes, avoiding displacement and improving patient care.
- Keep your patients happy during recovery, without uncomfortable e-collars

Pet PJs completely changed post-op recovery. As a lead vet technician, I’ve seen how much easier life gets for both pets and owners when we replace the cone with something comfortable and functional. The new design combines stretch and compression for ideal fit, while the two-way zipper simplifies access for care. It’s easier for clinics, stress-free for pets — and owners love how adorable their pets look even while healing!
In my experience as a veterinary surgeon, Pet Pjs has transformed the post-operative recovery of my patients. Unlike other alternatives that cause stress and limitations, I see pets calmer, more active, and more comfortable during healing, which promotes natural movement, faster recovery, and a better quality of life.
Isobel mom says she is absolutely in love with the new design & upgrades! She says that Isobel has been comfortable and happy the whole time- no itching, wiggling, etc. She specifically mentioned the removable sleeves and neck padding, as Isobel didn't really need those, so it was easily altered for her needs.
